Our Story

I am Josh, a US Army combat veteran who proudly served my country with the 10th Mountain Division. After I was injured by an IED while on foot patrol in Afghanistan, I recovered at Walter Reed and then medically retired from the Army. I miss the military greatly and struggled to find a job that would bring me the same happiness that I had in the Army. I found that working with my hands and taking something from raw materials to a finished product gives me a sense of accomplishment and is truly the best form of therapy. My love for the military and our country flows directly into every handmade, custom flag and sign. The decorative items you’ll find on this site have all been custom created with a rustic, farmhouse style in my workshop right here in Northern Virginia.

We take pride in the individual signs and flags we make; each is unique and none are created exactly the same. Yes, we custom create more than handmade signs and framed US and military flags. We have been known to make a cornhole game, raised dog dish or furniture for our local customers, but we truly focus on the shipping of hand painted farmhouse style signs, patriotic flags & fun home décor.
